Swedish collaborative project and exhibition
S—P—O—K x HANTVERKARNA, pairs six prominent designers with six highly skilled craftspeople from Hantverkarna Stockholm (the Swedish Craft and Small Business association) to create new objects.
The project, supported by the national handicraft council and initiated by S—P—O—K and Hantverkarna Stockholm, highlights contemporary craft by exploring new perspectives on form, material, and process.
The results of this project, where Studio Minna Palmqvist have designed a collection of garments, produced in close collaboration with felting expert Kinna Ohlsson (Kinna hantverk) will now finally be showcased during Stockholm Craft Week.

Hantverkarna Stockholm

Studio Minna Palmqvist has, as one of six designers, been chosen to be part of a unique collaborative project between S-P-O-K and Hantverkarna Stockholm. The project seeks to lift the knowledge of the hand, and the possibilities to local production.
Each designer has been hand picked by a jury, and paired up with another hand picked crafts professional.
Minna Palmqvist has been paired up with Kinna Olsson, a true master within the wool felting craft.
The duo is already plotting and sketching, and the result will be revealed alongside the work of the other participants during Stockholm Craft Week October 1st-5th 2025.

New No(n)sense in
Slakthusområdet

Studio Minna Palmqvist is moving into Gamla Börshuset in Slakthusområdet next to Globen metro station.
The new shared studio space called “No(n)sense” is shared with six other independent womxn art and design professionals.

- at Sergels Torg

(Be)longing is a poetic work based on the ongoing revolution ”Woman, Life, Freedom” for gender equality, democracy, and how we as humans can come together regardless of differences.(Be)longing moves in the borderland between dance, poetry and music. Opening up for dialogue, to see, understand, and participate in each other’s efforts towards a just world.
The performance is arranged at Sergels torg in collaboration with Parkteatern, På Sergels torg, and Farhang Förening. With support from Stockholms stad and HUMANA Second Hand.

Minna Palmqvist is currently showcasing the 2015 No Body Pt. 1 mannequin project, as part of AN/ARCHIVE Event One at Polimoda in Florence.
AN/ARCHIVE - EVENT ONE, is a preview of the future research center dedicated to fashion studies. From January 9th to 21st at the Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence, EVENT ONE will unfold as a multidisciplinary experience centered around the main theme The Body, offering an engaging exploration of the relationship between fashion and the human body.

NEW HEADQUARTER

Misschiefs, including the studio of Minna Palmqvist, is moving to a new location as of June 2022.
After two years at Linnégatan, Östermalm, Misschiefs are moving to Hagastan, under the name Misschiefs HA.
Going from 300 to 900 kvm, Hagastan headquarter can house around 25 free work studios female and non-binary artists, as a residency to grow as an artist.
